Information for Families
The team and I would like to personally welcome our families to The Blossom Family Cente

Please take time to browse this website to see The Blossom Family Centre’s location, modern premises and available facilities.

Firstly, for your assessment placement. you should bring with you any essential items needed for you and your child/children e.g. Baby bottles, sterilisers, baby baskets, clothing for both etc.. If you require transportation to The Blossom Family Centre, please contact us in advance so we can make arrangements.

Upon arrival at The Blossom Family Centre, we will first have a meeting with you to help you fully understand what to expect from the assessment and to set the objectives you will meet whilst staying with us. For many parents, this helps to establish clarity and remove some of the initial worries and concerns related to uncertainty. By discussing and understanding the aims and objectives, will help you to determine how these will be met.

The Blossom Family Centre will provide you and your child/children with a safe environment where we can support and advise you on achieving the set objectives. Our modern assessment centre allows you to care, play, bond and love your child/children. If at any time you have any questions, ,concerns or if you want to talk to us about anything regarding your stay or assessment please don’t hesitate to speak to anyone within the team.

As your placement at The Blossom Family Centre progresses, our thoughts and findings will be constantly shared and discussed with you and your social workers. Everything is orientated to fostering an open and positive environment that is focused on one thing; you and your child/children. At our regular review meeting we will also ask you for your thoughts, views and any concerns.
If you have any other specific questions you can contact The Blossom Family Centre using the information provided within the Contact section of this website.

Thank you,
